What is ‘six year molars’

The first molars will erupt when child is 6 years old, whose long development process includes: teeth germ form when fetus is around 3 to 4 months, then once baby is born it begins to calcify, when baby is around 2 or 3 years old, it finishes calcify, eventually when child is 6 or 7 years old, it erupts from oral cavity. In general, there are four first molars and two teeth each side. Because the first molars is sprouting when child is around 6 years old, it is also called ‘six year molars’.
